Field Trips are open to all registered attendees of Botany 2023 including spouses/companions and family members. (They must pay the full trip registration fee.) All trips require pre-registration and are on a first-come and first-served basis. Fees include transportation, admission fees, field guides (if provided), water, and where indicated, continental breakfast, and lunch. All trips will have knowledgeable guides to be sure you experience the botany of the area to the fullest!
In addition each day there will be a field trip to the Idaho Botanical Garden
Fee: $40.00 - includes transportation, water bottle, and entrance fee to the Garden
Join Idaho Botanical Garden docents on a tour of the grounds. This walk introduces you to the history of the Garden and the major features of the grounds.
For accessibility Information: The distance from the admission kiosk to the classroom and the more cultivated, shaded portion of the Garden is 212 yards long. This includes a 24 yards-long ramp that meets ADA slope requirements. There are areas of the garden where the path material is more gravely, areas where the sloped path is lawn, and in those cases we have alternative routes available that could be used.
