Botany in Action!

Botany in Action!

Sunday, July 23 -  8:00 - Noon

The Boise River ReWild Project is led by the Golden Eagle Audubon Society in collaboration with the City of Boise. We partner with many agencies, community groups, businesses, and caring community members with the goal to restore 50+ acres of important habitat on public land along the Boise River by 2024. In 2022 we celebrated 4,500 volunteer hours and over 10,000 native seedlings planted! We have engaged over 400 volunteers, and continue recruiting, weeding, planting, and caring for the riparian area our community loves.
We are honored to have BSA members join our efforts through this field trip.

Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, and expect to be hot and sweaty.  The project will be Sunday, July 23, leaving the Centre at 8:00 am.  Continental breakfast, water bottles, t-shirts, lunch, and transportation will be provided.
